สถานีรถไฟกันตัง (Kantang Railway Station) เป็นสถานีปลายทางของทางรถไฟสายชุมทางทุ่งสง–กันตัง ตั้งอยู่ที่ถนนหน้าค่าย ตำบลกันตัง อำเภอกันตัง จังหวัดตรัง อยู่ห่างจากสถานีรถไฟกรุงเทพเป็นระยะทาง 850.08 กิโลเมตร โดยกันตังเป็นสถานีรถไฟชั้น 3 ใช้สัญญาณแบบหลักเขตสถานี ตัวย่อของสถานีคือ กต.

Kantang Train Station Kantang Train Station is located on Nah Khai road, Kantansubdistrict, Kantang district, Trang province. It is the last terminal of the Southern-Andaman train railroad. This Kantang train station was officially opened on 1st April 1913. In the past, it was used as the trading products depot with the neighboring countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. There is stretching railroad for another 500 meters to Kantang harbor which was the ancient harbor. Nowadays, Kantang railroad is intruded by people so there are no more railroads in the area. The station was registered as an ancient place by Fine Arts Department in 1996. The Panya style in mustard-yellow crossed with brown wooden house was also built. It has the classical architecture which was famous in King Rama VI reign. The mustard-yellow and brown colors have become the signature color of the train station building. The building is separated into two sections: the building and the platform. The front of the building is decorated at each corner and used unique fretworks. The rooms in the building have wooden partitions with diagonally placed ventilators and the old wooden windows. At the hall, there are fences, wooden bars with small doors to separate the area into sections. At the back of the building is the platform with gable roof. The poles supporting this platform are decorated by fretworks to make them look similar to the interior of the building. Inside the station are some old daily life utensils. Moreover, after visiting Kantang train station, tourists can visit Phraya Ratchada museum which is located near the station. To go to Kantang train station, drive to Kantang district by taking Trang - Kantang route. It will take 30 minutes. You also can go to Trang train station by telling the driver that you would like to get off at Kantang station in Trang province. The fee is 60 baht per person.
