On 20 January 2017 at THE MASTERPIECES ART EXHIBITION, MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok, apart from meeting with famous national-class artists, we were also having conversation with Mr. Boonchai regarding his art ideas. During the talk, we mentioned that his wife, Tak Bongkoch, used to be our model many years ago and we talked about our return from Dubai in a few years ago as well. In the end he said he would tell Tak to call back to us later and we gave him a business card. Mr. Boonchai then invited us to the Gala Dinner at Siam Paragon on 5 February  to promote the self-funded film which Tak Bongkoch herself was a producer and director.

Meanwhile, Ajarn Grace drew a picture of the Ganesha as a souvenir to Mr. Boonchai. We then walked around the exhibition area. We met a good looking man in light marine blue suit. We had a nice chat and he told us that he was an architect graduated from London and he said he loved taking photographs very much. We invited him to be our model and will contact him later if there is an important photo shoot. He gladly accepted our invitation. Later, we knew that he is the son of Mr. Boonchai. It is very cute that his personality are very kind and friendly.

Almost 25 minutes after giving out the business card to Mr. Boonchai, an unfamiliar phone number was received. a lovely and memorable voice on the phone was from Tak Bongkoch. We talked for about half an hour. It is always a pleasure to meet her again because she is the beloved model for us forever. Thanks to the exhibition and Thong-Yhod Yuttana Phongphasuk who help us to meet our lovely sister once again. We are looking forward to seeing her movie as a movie critic for Thainews7 team. Shortly, as a reporter and professional designer, we will finally meet her soon.

Everybody carried the king only one time but the king held Thai people all his life.

ทุกคนแบกพ่อเพียงครั้งเดียว แต่พ่อแบกทุกคนมาตลอดชีวิต.

An inspiring words that aroused me to do this contemporary painting to the up coming Exhibition at MOCA    : Saturday : 20 January -25 February 2018

ยุทธนา พงศ์ผาสุก Yuttana Phongphasuk : Artist

Painting from the heart:

JY: Tell us about the success of portraits you have drawn of King Rama IX.

YP:I’d rather call these paintings my happiness. I am always really happy whenever I draw a portrait of His Majesty the King. For several years, I smiled with delight or cried with thankfulness at the King’s benevolence, depicted in the reference photos for my paintings. If this is my success, I would be grateful to people who truly see my love for the King.
